Your privacy is one of our main priorities. Please note that this privacy policy does apply to our landing page habyte.app and our correspondence but not our apps for Android and iOS. Headers and Server Logs

When you visit our landing page your browser sends information to us (or our webspace provider respectively) for technical reasons that include your IP address and may also include your operating system and browser with their respective version numbers and the URL of the site you are coming from. We do not explicitly request this information, your browser sends this information because they are part of the common Internet Protocols.

Technical information is also transmitted when you send us an email that dependant on the configuration of your mail provider or email client may provide additional personal information such as your IP address or email client. We also have no influence on the transmittal of this information.

To be able to reliably serve our and other web pages our webhoster keeps log files of incoming requests with the IP addresses, the requested resource (URL) on our web page and date and time of the access. This information is temporarily saved for up to seven days.

The legal basis for processing this information is that being able to reliably serve our web pages is a legitimate interest of ours in terms of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR).

Cookies

Our landing page uses cookies, i. e. small text files that your web browser will save and send to us the next times you visit our site. If you agree to using cookies this will allow us to reidentify you at a later time. This allows us to provide a more user friendly landing page to you and other customers because it allows us to implement features like saving your language preferences what wouldn't be possible otherwise.

Processing this information allows us to provide a better landing page which is a legitimate interest of ours in terms of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. of the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR). If the cookies are processed prior to entering into a contract the legal basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. GDPR.

Newsletter

On our landing page we give you the opportunity to provide us your email address to stay updated about our apps and activities. We will use this email address only to send you stay in touch with you. Besides us only the service provider(s) that help us sending our emails will have access.

If you decide to no longer receive our updates you can unsubscribe at any time by using an "Unsubscribe" link on the bottom of every of our automated emails. Of course you can also contact us to no longer receive our emails.

Legal basis for this data processing is the consent that you give by subscribing with your email address. You may revoke your consent at any time. Your data will be stored as long as you do not cancel your newsletter subscription.

Web Analytics

We use the web analytics software Matomo on our landing page to analyze traffic and to help us improving your user experience. The legal basis is the legitimate interest of ours (in terms of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. EU-GDPR) to analyze how the site is used and to improve our website.

Matomo is processing the following personal data:

  • Cookies - IP address (anonymized)

  • Title of the page being viewed
  • URL of the page being viewed
  • URL of the page that was viewed prior to the current page
  • Screen resolution
  • Time in local timezone
  • Files that were clicked and downloaded
  • Link clicks to an outside domain

  • Main Language of the browser
  • User Agent of the browser

Processing your personal data such as cookies is helping us identify what is working and what is not on our website. For example, it helps us identify if the way we are communicating is engaging or not and how we can organize the structure of the website better. Our team is benefiting from the processing of your personal data, and they are directly acting on the website.
